About the course

Obtain your Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL) through this two-part, 56-hour course offered by Northeast Community College.

This course includes everything you need to pass the license exam, pre-trip inspection, and practical driving test.

Following the successful completion of our CDL Training, you will have an opportunity to take the license exam and obtain your CDL license.

When is this course offered? 

Classroom Theory: January 10th - 11th, from 8 AM to 5 PM

40 Hour Driving: February 4th - 8th 

(Please note: the two-day theory portion will be held at RTEC from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, followed by a five-day driving portion conducted at Northeast Community College in Norfolk, NE.)

Cost to attend

$1,045 plus applicable tax. 



Drug screening is required for the class and this cost is included in the course fee. Please contact RTEC for instructions pertaining to the drug screen. A DOT physical, necessary for some students, is not included in the course fee. Students must be at least 21 years old prior to the class start.
