High School Students,

You’re invited to join us this summer at our annual Yankton Manufacturing Academy!

Students from the Yankton community, and surrounding areas, gather together to learn about the manufacturing industry. YMA participants will be exposed to Welding, CNC machining, CAD, 3D printing, and the business side of manufacturing.

Included in this hands-on approach will be tours to local manufactures to learn about manufacturing careers and products that are produced right here in Yankton!

 

Upon successful completion, student will receive .5 CTE (career and technical education) high school credit!! **

June 3rd-June 14th, 2024

8am-4pm

 
 
 
 

There is no cost to attend this event; it’s FREE!

  • Snacks and lunch are provided

  • Wear jeans with out holes or frays, closed-toed shoes, and long hair pulled back

  • No cologne, perfume or hairspray

  • Student must complete the entire academy to be eligible to receive .5 CTE credit**

A recognition ceremony will be held on Friday, June 14th, 2024. Family and friends are invited to attend!

 
 
 
 

Requirements:

 

Student must be an INCOMING freshman, sophomore, junior or senior.

Registration deadline is May 10th, 2024
